EPP power: stuul® is extremely robust and easy to clean
The stuul® is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) - a material that you may recognise from the millions of fascia rolls sold, which also have to meet high hygiene standards. It is lightweight, durable and 100% recyclable. As EPP has a closed surface, liquids cannot penetrate.

Cleaning & care of the toilet stool: step by step
✔ Rinse regularly with water
Rinsing your toilet stool for adults under running water every other month is completely sufficient. Use a little soap if necessary - this helps to get rid of any deposits or limescale stains (especially on dark-coloured versions).
✔ In the shower
You can also take the stuul® with you in the shower. A quick shower takes less than a minute and is easy on your back - you don't have to fiddle about over the sink or bath.
✔ Dishwasher
Don't fancy scrubbing by hand? Then try the dishwasher. The stuul® retains its shape up to 110°C. So you don't have to worry about it melting or deforming.
✔ Disinfect
Especially if you have a lot of visitors or just want to be on the safe side: commercially available disinfectants are perfectly fine. Simply spray on briefly, leave to work and wipe off with a lint-free cloth.
✔ No great effort
Additional care steps such as oiling or polishing are not necessary. The EPP material remains unchanged in shape, colour and stability.
Tip: Coarse scouring pads are not necessary. A soft cloth or sponge is completely sufficient to remove dirt. Aggressive cleaners with chlorine are theoretically possible, but in most cases completely overkill. So it's better to be gentle.
And sun or moisture?
No problem: stuul® is tough and doesn't mind a humid bathroom climate. Discolouration will not happen - and if limescale stains do appear, simply wipe them off with soap and water.
